Publisher review:DGPS-IP application allows you to receive the local DGPS corrections from absolutely anywhere. The DGPSIP server is multithreaded and is currently configured to support up to 64 concurrent connections. The DGPS radio is outputting data at an average of 284 bits/sec. Normally the server sends out a packet roughly every second with 35 bytes of data and 40 bytes of IP header.
The server also transmits multicast UDP corrections (currently on 224.0.1.235 port 2101). This mode has been tested locally, and in theory the mrouted that I have running on this machine can redistribute this multicast on demand. Unfortunately I don't know how to arrange for broader Internet availability of this service.
DGPS-IP is a C/C++ script for Scientific/Engineering scripts design by Wolfgang Rupprecht.
It runs on following operating system: Linux / BSD.
